New FPS rule sucks

ViperTunnelViper:
I have some top times in /tt.  I play with the frame limiter on and I use /fpslimit 30, because it makes bumps in the road actually fuck with your car.  It also makes vehicles feel more agile and fun to drive (the way they should feel).  I can't compete with the majority of top times on AdrenX, simply because those who use high FPS can cruise over elevation changes like they aren't even present.  My records are on courses that are - mostly - flat roads.  They exclude bumps, and don't require cutting between lamp posts, driving over sidewalks, etc.  Now I join the server, and I'm told I can't set any more records because my choice of FPS is abusive?

The majority of you guys don't understand how much bumps in the road can kick you out of the game.  You don't feel bumps with the frame limiter off.  Just ask [2F2F]Mute, he saw how badly I struggled on a bumpy course when asking me to beat his time.  SA:MP is not the kind of game where you should be telling people how to run their system.  You are not hosting a console version, where limitations on FPS are a clear-cut deal.  SA:MP is a spastic game by definition, and to even consider "fairness" a possibility is laughably naive.

Play the way you want to play, and let others play the way they want to play.  Maybe you should try competing with your high FPS times using a low FPS.

Rob_Zamora:
You still can get random bumps on a 100 fps. Even on a flat road, you get random bumps a lot, I don't even know where they come from sometimes.

Amazing to see how wrong you're.. more fps = more bumps, ask me ;_;

actually lower fps is much more bumpy, try driving a hotring over a curb on 30 fps, lol.

[MAF]Karlis:
it doesn't matter. there are enough low fps advantages that we need to disallow using it.
