death is for the event of someone dying and dead is a state that someone is in once they've died

Just to point out since this is the English language thread, it sounds better if you say "When SHOULD I use death / dead?", not "When TO use death / dead?"

Just thought I'd point it out since it actually makes your English sound alot better :)
