I know it's meant to be a PC thread but I saw some people posting laptops too so I decided to share my new baby.  :L I bought it yesterday after many years of using total bullshit and crappy parts in my PC. I simply had no money to get anything good. Now I can finally say I have some not bad hardware lol... (Cheers Andy! *trollface*)

It's cool because of better quality and angles. However, if you don't need much work space like me (Photoshop and coding) I'd recommend HD (1366x768). It will make your eyes less tired.

you can upscale most things so it looks better but still isn't tiring

How much did you pay? The good thing in your lap is that it has GTX675 instead of mine 660 what is much better.

Crom , remember that gtx 675  is a rebrand , yes is a bit faster of yours , but it doesn't use kepler architecture and it overheats a bit more.

However , i really can't understand why using notebook for gaming .

I won't be using it for gaming most of time. And I desired mobility more than upgrading my old PC.

Playing VLC on TV
« Reply #733 on: February 15, 2013, 03:28:31 pm »
Thought I'd post here instead of starting a new thread.

I'm trying to play movies on my TV by connecting it to my PC. It works, I can see my PC playing on my TV, except when I use VLC, it just shows a blank screen, like when you try to take a screenshot and when you paste it it is just a black screen.

How can I fix that? Do I need a plugin or something for VLC? Thanks.
