scorpion and mooman: single channel ram sucks (half the bandwidth), you should have gotten two sticks of 4gb. :(

lol the clock speed of the RAM doesn't really talk too much except if you're an enthusiast

About single vs dual channel memory:

synthetic benchmarks can sometimes show 30%, even 80% differences between the different configurations... but real-world testing could be 3-5%

is better 2GB DDR2 800mhz or 4GB DDR2 667mhz with different memorys? my motherboard not can accept 4gb 800mhz, idk the why, or is cuz the memory are different idk

i would add 4GB cuz the minimum requirement of Windows 7 Memory is 2GB
