btw I have the Nokia 3310 SMS beep and beep ringtone on my Blackberry so when it goes off everyone is like "OMGWTFBBQ A TIME MACHINE FROM 2001 JUST ARRIVED"

depends how much he downloaded apps, for me its now even laggy and installed already 10+ apps

Not needed to not to buy that phone it works perfect. only batery needs everyday re loading not a real big problem imo..

ssd in it(altrough it is used as a ram too in smartphones, not sure if galaxy S have dedicated ram too) shouldn't cause any lag, as long as
1) the space is not so full that there is empty spot for ram
2) apps are not open and consuming cpu pwoer
