Okay, so... Anybody played it? To be honest not worth buying, I suggest downloading to check it out. You're not going to spend any decent time playing this in my opinion via Steam (not sure what Multi offers). Game is interesting, I don't say it isn't. Just not big enough fan to buy it and spend my life turning left.
From my point of view AI is terrible. They are causing wrecks more often than any other MadMax [NASCAR] we raced here in past (even with noobs joining). You can succesfully finish races just by seeing AI crash into each other on 1st lap causing TONS of full yellow cautions. Game lacks of visual damage too, I think NASCAR 08 was better than this.
Anyway, three things I learned.
First of all it's HARD AS FUCK to drive in pack of 43 cars pushing you from every possible side. I think passing 1st corner on zole/msd is easier than that. (i am driving by wheel/pedal/gear device not keyboard)
Second thing... You indeed HAVE TO TURN RIGHT in NASCAR racing. Why? Because car wants to go left on any oval circuit so to keep it go straight you have to keep steering wheel to the right what is extremely hard to maintain when you exit a corner (kissing the outside wall was 100% case for me when i turned on the game for the first time).
And third thing is drafting. Another superb hard thing to do. Staying in air tunnel behind a car at 300 kph (while any wheel movement will cause you to lose grip and understeer) is something I definitiely wouldn't want to try in real life.
Well yeah, overally fun game. But just a game, lacks of realism as for me. Maybe expecting too much as usual but from many reviews and from people's opinion I am at least partly right.
