I, ** Martins, a student of 4th year Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Porto, I am currently interning at the Health Unit Place the Minho, EPE, in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. Since this is a traineeship and is performed as the last step before the Bachelor, I have to do a research work, which I have to defend before a jury. The theme of my work is entitled «Height estimated from the length of the ulna in adults in the district of Viana do Castelo». This project will be to check whether the table created by the Malnutrition Action Group, Committee of the British Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and inserted into the screening method called malnutrition Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool, is adapted to the population residing in the district of Viana do Castle. For this to be possible I would need to know how we obtained the height and length of the ulna for the English population. I should like to provide this information and if it were possible for me to reveal the source and the sample number, through which instruments the data obtained and how they created the table at the book's explanatory MUST.
