My monitor only has DVI-D (dual link).. what cable to connect that to DVI-I?

you may try it, male DVI-D should go into female DVI-I (not a dirty joke, that's valid term) according to wiki.

Yeah I just saw the same on a site. I will buy one tomorrow to try it (and ask the guy in the shop ofc)
