Unban request [NL]Luukvdo [UNBANNED]

A few minutes ago I got banned because I had mods. I have one mod, an infernus mod, but it is not affecting the handling of the infernus. My handling.cfg is still the same.
In the ban I got the message to remove the mod but unfortunately I can't. While experimenting with different mods a few months ago something went wrong and therefore I can't remove the mod.
So, please unban me, the mod is not giving me any advantage whatsoever

The ban is set for 1 week (168 hours).

You got kicked at least twice today for mods, you should have told that after getting kicked the first time.

I don't know how to help you on that, wait for someone who'll tell you how to remove the mod.
And mods are still forbidden.

The easiest way to make sure there are no mods in your game is to reinstall GTA SA so I suggest you do that.
I was in the right, yes absolutely in the right. I certainly was in the right... I dunno I was really drunk at the time...

Okay, I managed to get the original infernus back. I deinstalled my mod but when I spawned an infernus in SA:MP debug mode, my game freezed. So I downloaded the original files and installed those, as you can see in this screenshot:

ok, so what do you (other admins) think? Unban now or let the 7 days end?

I don't really mind whether it's unban now (the guy didn't evade and directly came here and now showed he's removed it) or let the temporary ban do its job (as he had been warned and still didn't say anything).

and @Ush: we've always had that rule to not allow any mod how come you wake up now :L maybe you're drunk again lol

I understand if you don't believe what I am about to say, but I did not notice the warnings. I play on another server where I happen to get desynced every now and then. When that happens I don't read the chat and /q immediately. I guess I wasn't desynced here but got kicked for mods.
I really hope you will unban me now because I really like this server

If you interpretate the rule that way, then Firebox his mods are also forbidden. Imo mods that don't affect the handling of a car are allowed..

I say unban now, the guy did what we asked him to do and by that he isn't breaking the rules anymore. Then I like to quote rac3r a bit, in where he says people are here to have fun.. the fun can start now for this guy!

Yeah but for years the rule was no mod is allowed except epoxi's mods that you can find on the forums (since then, FB, max and others started some AX friendly mods) and I think some people said it still affects a bit the gameplay (idk if that's true), anyway we've always been punishing anyone who visibly has mods even if they're not supposed to change any performence.
And this rule was probably made to make admins' task easier, since if the handling is barely changed it will be hard to notice, while we quickly notice if a car is not well moded (epoxi's mods can't be noticed by other players if I'm not mistaken). Here, the infernus was lower than usual, which made it visible on first sight it's mods.

Then it did affect the handling as well :) Case solved.

Maybe be should warn new players that mods are illegal on our server.  I know we have the /message rules command, but that's a very small amount of text, which sometimes isn't seen by all.

I'll add a display to the In-Game tutorial system, I suppose once they've finished using the tutorial they will have more knowledge about what is and what isn't acceptable at our server.
