Can stress trigger eczema?
« on: February 08, 2012, 09:25:01 am »
Bit of a weird post, by I've diagnosed with Eczema (or as I was spelling it yesterday, exma :L).  I've never had it before, but of few of you might remember an eye and skin infection I had in November, it's come back and this time they know what it is.

Tiredness and illness can also set it off as well as the more typical triggers mentioned below.

Regardless of what starts it up each time the most important aim when trying to improve your daughter's eczema is to keep her skin moist.

I'm using antibiotics, also a steroid cream I might try on my penis (joke, of course).

Let's hope it's nothing, it always scares me reading pages on the internet, don't know what to believe.
(Possibly the only pro to SOPA :L)

I had skin problems (too dry and very scratchy) i saw specialists who gave me creams ,oils and soft/sweet/idk  soaps , exams shows it wasnt an mushrooms ( is it the corret word ) but nothing worked untill i saw on TV that in, france, people eat 5* toom much salt in a day and i was happy trigger on salt.

i 've removed salt from my alimentation (coz it's everywhere in prepared food u buy in supermarkets and streets, fries .... so just by stop puting it in my meals , i would eat too much of it anyway) and bb scratchy skin and problems. I found my own solution ^^ .

i dont if this can help but it cant do bad and it would be better for ur health anyway.

stress can weaken the immune system of which you may be vulnerable to disease... Now, i'm not sure whether it can trigger eczema, but from what i know, eczema is present from early childhood and could be triggered by puberty (where during this time period, it may trigger other things such as schizophrenia if you have it...)

Either you were born with eczema and parts of your skin becomes inflamed from time to time, or you have made contact with an object of some sort which has triggered an eczema reaction to the skin. Best thing to do is to drink plenty of water to rehydrate your skin. Also that there are creams which are best used after having a bath/shower to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.
