MSI GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II? (not the overclocked version though)

I've looked at a lot of benchmarks for those two cards and they perform roughly the same! Just can't make a decision as to which one I should choose.

Since you own 460 --->http://forum.adrenalinex.co.uk/index.php/topic,2726.0.html

20% of advantage what gives 560 doesn't sounds worth upgrade
Quote
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 is a speed boosted GTX 460

But if you still want upgrade my vote goes on side of Asus,Top version always was/is good overclocker.

maybe i should wait for the 600 series? hmm

what ATI card would you recommend?

Nvidia put me in a difficult position. the high end cards are way too expensive and the cheaper ones aren't much faster than my 460

Hmmm any of that cards are worth only in case if you play on full HD resolution or dual monitor and own some card pre 400 series Nvidia or ATI 5xxx
there is not much option by ATI in that 'nearly top' segment

Same as Nvidia did with 460<560,ATI 6870<6950 advantage is less than 20%

6980 is still expensive same as 570,6990 is dual chip you defiently not looking that and 6850 is bit weak for your taste so i would wait prices drop when comes new serie of cards.

dude the price of 560 is like 70 usd less than a 570.

I can run all current games on ultra + 16AA on 1920x1200.
It's also VERY silent. btw mine is made by Gigabyte. you should totally check it out

They do aswell with 460 or similar but still... from your point of view is worth paying card like 300+ euro/dollars/pounds to get new card who gonna give you in best case 35% advantage if you compare card what you paid like half money one year ago ???

we are talking about future game releases right? so you have games like BF3(which has the gtx560 listed as recommended reqs), gta 5 and tons of other graphically demanding games coming out next year, and NO way you will be able to max them with the 460 :)

We are not talking about future games here,Snoopy asked about 560 model but since he bought 460 not even year ago i told him its not worth buying that card and paying like 200 euro what gonna give you 20% better FPS rate cause 560 is a speed boosted 460.

Only in case if you building PC from ground as you did buying 560 or 570 is good offer instead of selling 460 for less than 100 euro as used card, cause that card isn't that bad.

New games won't comment but gonna tell you that cards from mid segment gives similar FSP rate as cards from high end segment if you test them on lower resolution as 1280x1024 or 1366x768 with maxed details.

Pure power of 570 or better you see at 1600x1050 or higher resolution but not all PC users own monitors 22''+ at their home at this moment, there is huge percentage of people who are still fine with 17'' or average 19''

i get your point. That's why i suggested that he buys the 570, not the 560 one.

btw andy what size is your screen?
