Hi, I think Windows 7 will work with any intergrated audio card without installing any external drivers.

No, I mean that Win7 already got a bunch of drivers "pre-installed". For example, HDD, CD-roms - I mean, have you ever installed an HDD driver? - Nope, because the system already got in onboard. Same goes with integrated audio.

Windows 7 is full of drivers for older generation of hardware,so if your motherboard is capable to run 7 there should be some.
But since you have MB with AGP video card and Sempron procesor am not suggesting you to install Windows 7,stay with XP cause use less resources what is very important in your case and for sure games.
But if you still bother to install Windows 7 try with compatible XP mode for drives what you have on CD what came in same package with motherboard or this http://neosmart.net/blog/2006/vista-sound-drivers/ if still doesn't work buy some pci sound card with Realtec chip set cost like 5 euro used/new

Pretty weak hardware if you are about to install Win 7,half or ram memory will be used on to run proper system so if you add there any antivirus there is only 256 or similar memory free which make you unable to play any 3D game now days,
If you are amazed with fancy style of Win 7 you can download some transformation package for XP ,internet is full of them...
Less usage of resources same look ;)
And most important thing you doesn't need reinstall system or hunt drivers for sound card...

i installed win7 on this hardware:

Athlon xp 2400
2.5 gb ram
radeon hd 3450

and it runs pretty fine, maybe in your case it's better to keep win xp , or upgrade  your ram

Another chip of 1gb ddr1 is waste of money cause is expensive cost like half price of whole PC what he have, and not really helps you to get what you really want, also nobody know is that 754 socket motherboard can handle good that new chip of ram
SE version of Asus motherboards was limited in every possible segment where they got space for that to cut.
That is why was one of cheapest motherboards at time when he bought PC
6200 is only 64bit interface  of ram and honestly i can say its just 5% better than 3 years older brother called 5200.
As i said in my previous post keep XP on that machine.

These packs are full of bugs and they lag PC much more than original Win7.
