UK Car Insurance

Insurance is up for renewal.

I have been given a renewal quote by Aviva for £1,200 which I think is too much (especially since I have 2 years NCB as named driver with them...though I can't use it for other companies as I was not policyholder, only named driver).

I have tried the following places:
Moneysupermarket
Confused.com
Gocompare
CompareTheMarket
Tesco Compare
Endsleigh
Direct Line
Adrian Flux
Admiral
Bell
Elephant.co.uk
coverbox.co.uk

I am 20, driving for two years as named driver on 1.4 Citroen C2 with cosmetic modifications (exhaust, wheels, tints, suspension).

Cheapest quote outside Aviva I found was £1,340 with Admiral via Moneysupermarket, they gave me over £2,000 via other comparison sites, and wouldn't even give me a quote direct.

I am really fed up after hours of searching, do any of you guys have advice?

No, they are only cosmetic, hardly affect quotes for most insurers. However if you modify the engine, then you are in trouble.

oh right kk, but suspension and exhaust etc. they're performance parts so I would have though that having them would raise the insurance quote a bit
