Yo mate. Fellow contact lens user here. Some tips for ya'
- During your free-time, spend time practicing on putting them on and taking them off, that worked for me.
- If you can't get them on, just put more of the solution. If you find it difficult to handle in your fingers, try buying a harder lens on your next purchase.
- Taking them out is utter pain. You have to get used to it. What I do is blink a lot to moisten my eyes, then with three fingers on each hand, lock the eye open, then with the index+thumb of your preferred hand, gently squeeze your eyeball to take the lens out. I know it sounds brutal but after 3 weeks or so you'll get used to it.
- Again, practice hurting your eyes. Tapping your eyeballs with a clean finger can help you get used to the pain.
Contacts are painful, but pain is something you have to get used to. All it takes is raw patience. I know how you feel, 2nd day on my contacts I was ready to give up
but after around 5 weeks I got used to putting them on without facing a mirror and even while on a moving car.
Contact lenses ftw.
