I agree with that but most of us are like little child when he get new toy and want playing instantly.That is why i suggested to plug cd into drive and load drivers :L
For sure after that you going test and make best possible performance for that video card with new drivers  ;)

Same here :)
Still remember when i got brand new 2600xt couple years ago and i was lazy to download new drivers 2-3 weeks.Then i realize i am getting 30% better performance with new ati drivers and framework 3.0 :D
But still that is not worth if you are able playing game

I didn't find a CD in the package. Besides, i assumed it would be out of date if i did.

Hm, maybe if you buy it apart from the rest.. but if you buy the whole pc I don't know. Depends if you build it yourself or not, maybe.
