suggestion: set the default language according to a player's country and then show them a menu with relevant languages and english.
for example, if they connect from russia, automatically set their language to Russian when they connect and show them a  language menu that looks like this:
русский язык/Russian
англи́йский язы́к/English
Другой/Other

we'd need help doing the menus too but it shouldn't be TOO hard

Yeah that sounds the best way to do it. Need some time to get the id's and link them to lang id's.

One more thing I need, what Pyro pointed out (even though the plan is to do it via IP, selecting menu I reckon we should also use).
