Haha, well maybe its better in whole NL then we may have so much snow we cant get out of our homes i think that wont happen tough...

The most days from last week (and also today) are very foggy, can't see far.. today isn't the worst day but sight is like 250m max. Last on a worse day it was like 100m max :s

Was there some situations in the past where there was too much snow to close schools and factories? In near past.

Maybe schools but I think if you got work you will have to build an iglu at your factory instead they just leave it closed hehe.
