Making races is very easy. Anyone can pick a car and make a track anywhere, and if they get lucky it might even be a fun race.
However, engineering a race for a particular car is not easy. Every time I put effort into making a race as perfect as possible (Ford_GT, Smokey and Bandit, Greenfields, ban_one, others I forgot) I pick several good paths on a map and connect them. Every time I make a section of track, I drive through it at race speed to see where the physics take the car. Making a good race takes well over an hour and sometimes making remaking it more than once
