Title: 8500GT vs 9600GT, which is better

Ok i gonna buy a new gfx card, but i don't know which one to get ???

VGA MSI GeForce 9600GT DDR3 512MB,256bit,TV-OUT,2DVI,OverClock, w/o Game, ZALMAN FAN

or,  

VGA MSI GeForce 8500GT DDR2 512MB,128bit, TV-ou, DVI, Heatsink

I've heard that 8600 is better than 9660, but there isn't 8600, so i choose 8500


so can you tell me which one to choose?

and yeah an 8500gt isn't a gaming graphics card it's more for multimedia, videos music etc, get a 9600gt it won't let you down.

i agree with the other replies. the 9600gt is better.

oh and one more thing: "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaalp!!!" isn't really a good subject. i think something like "Help me choose a new graphics card" or "8500GT vs 9600GT, which is better?" would be better. someone who could help you is more likely to click on a thread like that than this one. keep that in mind when making future topics ;)

39-49 dollars, depending on where your buying and what sub-vendor.

Around 75 and 130 euros.
Also remember one thing don't buying model with gddr2 memory because degrade card performance 30-50 percent,depends of model what you buying.
Standard model of 9600gt is with 512mb/256 bit ddr3 memory on board.
My suggestion is Asus,Gigabyte or Gainward

9600GT all the way because it's newer and it has DDR3

nVidia intents to replace 8600GT/GTS with 9600GT. In general, its performance should between 8800GS 384 and 8800GT 512.
