After countless hours of trying to figure out why my wireless internet kept disconnecting, and after installing windows 7 and windows 8 numerous times to see if my wireless dongle was incompatible, I finally found the problem.
My graphics card was causing disconnections to my wireless internet.
Now.
Not sure if it's a power supply issue, a motherboard issue, or just the graphics card itself. I tried my APU graphics again and my wireless internet is perfectly normal.
Any ideas? Not much about on Google.

try moving the gpu to another slot. also try moving the dongle to another usb slot
-
Done the USB thing, but I'll try moving my GPU to the second slot
-
that's really odd, afaik usb and pci-e i/o are in no way connected.
probably its some driver issue?
-
Tried both drivers on windows 8 and windows 7, my wireless dongle doesn't give me any problems on my laptop either.
trying second pci-e slot now
-
Same problem

When I'm playing games on Steam, it will disconnect my internet then, and if I minimize the game I am playing, it reconnects.
Same on SA-MP

so weird

maybe the dongle has some "idle detection" that turns net off when PC is not used and it mistakenly accounts PC being idle when you're full screen and APU's GPU is idle? just a guess though
-
Hmm I thought the same, I checked power options on my PC, CCC, and power options on my dongle and still the same problem. Going to invest in a cheap wf-fi card. No point spending lots of money on something for possibility of the same thing happening.
