apart from being cool whats the need for more expensive parts than others on bmx? its not like you get some feature or not, can you really break the cheap ones?

When riding and doing fancy tricks, we take into account the weight to strength ratio along with the length of particular components such as the top tube of a frame. it's just that some cheaper bmx parts doesn't offer the specs that we need... which is quite unfortunate and makes us lean towards the more expensive parts
