Hello,
My friend is experiencing problems with his printer. It sometimes stops printing at any time, leaving half of paper free, sometimes paper is being eaten like crazy and is not moving smoothly, color printing is very very bad however cartridge is new. He sent printer to a service and they said it has some viruses infection. However, they didn't do anything probably because they had no clue what to do. Does anybody know if re-installing software is possible and would help?

However, I am not sure what's the best way to change printer sofware which is not located on PC lol. Printer type: HP Officejet Pro L7680
Bear in mind my friend checked this printer on 4 other comupters including PCs as well as laptops and it was indeed same.

New software wont help you much,no matter what version you install.
All in one printers are known as bad option cause mechanics inside printers is on poor level.
There is not much to suggest your friend how to fix or prevent paper jam or stop printing on half page on that printer.
Most honest answer is to forget that ink jet printer and look for some laser model they aren't expensive nowdays.

BUMP. What if it's currently only 1 problem? It eats paper but do not print. It vomits untouched paper lol.
