Most things are caused by human interaction.. still there are a few things that can reduce us to zero. Super Vulcano's, Meteors, Sun flares.. etc

Solar flares mainly only pose substantial risks to satellites...which we can easily replace. The areas most at risk are those near the Earth's poles (i.e. Scandinavians). You can protect your computers and phones from electric fields by putting them in a conducting metal box...which is exactly why our PSUs and many other components are in metal boxes in the first place: to protect them from interference.  :L This is also why the most damage is done to exposed devices like power lines.

I wouldn't worry about the end of the world yet. :D

There are loads of meteors flying around Earth but none of them can possibly cause any harm. So nothing catastrophic will happen imo, only political stuff  :D

2011 year started bad for me, been robbed at work all construction tools about 2 000 lvl(Latvian lati) = 2 831.13703 Euros = 3 931.6 U.S. dollars, robbers still not found. so i dont care whats will be in 2012.
