I will build a new pc for me, i will start at summer now i dont have time and money, my objctive is build a gaming pc in the cheapest way :o
Motherbard: Asus P6X58D-E
CPU: Intel Core i7 860 2.8hz
RAM: kingston DDR3 2x 2GB (hmm maybe i will make a another choice in future :))
BOX: nox coolbay devil edition
GPU- Sephire ATI Radeon HD6970
DRIVES: Sony DVDRW LIGHSCRIBE SATA (maybe)
POWER SOURCE: nox Apex
DISK: Wester Sata 3.0
SCREEN: LG TFT 22"(maybe)
Tell me what you think about it, the price of all pieces is 1200 euros :D not bad ta all :P
-
Well, if you wanna buy this in the summer, I think it's gonna be even cheaper than now lol
-
Project I WANNA A 1337 PC!!!!
k
-
thx for the help...
BTW i forget of the NIC...
-
that motherboard has an integrated NIC
-
onboard NIC > NIC cards
-
I suggest you to dont work on it at the moment, i suggest you to improve your knowledge about hardware.
IF you build something right now, till the summer it may get old. There might be even cheaper and even faster things. So, give it off now.Start building it in a close time ( --- stuck here! About language ) to buying. (ok right?)
-
thats really expensive :o
-
... I forgot to mention the GPU is incorporated in that price (1200 euros) is a Sephira ATI Radeon hd6970 (360 euros)
-
Never heard about hd970 or even 870 :-\
4gb of ddr3 isn't bad but way out to be 1337,as Love suggested you better try to learn more about hardware cause didn't find any proper name of component except processor and motherboard which you probably copy/paste from some site
-
I forget of the "6" c'mon ... O0
I did the topic fast so did some mistakes... Also got confused with NIC... I got some knowleged about hardware but im not a expert :D
I will have more time in the weekend....
MY QUESTION NOW IS DO I NEED BETTER MEMORIES? >:D
-
You can only use 4GB of RAM at the currents system, isnt that right? (A)
-
no
-
max ram depends on the OS you use
-
ye...

192 GB? Im a bit outdate...
-
XP = 3gb
Vista & 7 = more
-
Wrong, each 64 bit system is able to read more than 4gb(including windows xp).So if you going install more than 3gb of ram 64bit system is needed
also *Vista 32bit can see only 3.5GB of ram total. The new sp1 only reports how much memory you have installed, not how much memory you can use.
-
yeah i forgot lol but xp 64 is pointless anyway a lot of hardware was never made for it

that's just the max.. nobody got it and you don't need it. I think 4GB ram is enough for now?
-
4 is probably enough but if you don't plan to upgrade for a while, 6 would be a good idea since ram is so cheap anyway.
-
6gb is pointless due problems with dual channel options,so my suggestion goes on 4gb or if you have money 8gb is best(2x4gb chip)

Eh you can be sure what people going install in their rig when money isn't problem...In 2003 when i started working with hardware there were few customers who liked to see as much as possible ram in their pc's.So in time when 1gb of ram was fine for most of games and programs they bought 4gb or more...Plus people who working with video material or simulations never ask for price ;)
Most what i seen in service till now is 32gb(guy is designer)

hm but isn't ddr3 triple channel?
-
Depend of memory brands and kits, sometime triple channel working worst than dual...Most shits what they implemented last year are still way to be perfect
Same as 3 core processors and now triple channel....
http://techreport.com/articles.x/15967
Our testing shows that you can even get away with a dual-channel config if you happen to already have a couple of DDR3 DIMMs lying around. I wouldn't skimp on that third memory module if I were building a Core i7 system from scratch, though.

interesting

1x8GB DDR3 2000 MHZ
meh.... get this.. avaiable now in your local ebay..

You should just wait until the summer when you have the money. Things change too much for you to pick something now and expect it to be the best you can afford by summer.
-
sounds like he is doh :P
i will start at summer now i dont have time and money,
-
you should use 3 ram sticks for i7 platform eg 3x1gb or 3x2gb

Re read my post :) I'm saying he shouldn't bother picking a configuration now cause it'll most likely change by the time summer comes when he has the money to buy.
-
oo aggressive lol
-
Thats how people get confused and cant get what they want :( Some says one stick some says three stick, ok talk about WHY you say that ? *rages?*
I just spent 1 full month for building a full-compatible full-efficient easy-budget computer for longest lifespan and tried to be wide-visioned.I didnt buy any SATA 3 or Sandy Bridge / Bulldozer (not out anyway) Cause theyre fucking too overpriced cause theyre new and top notch performing.
In computer world i believe everything should be matched to 2 and counting.Something getting their middle wont do as good as 4 of them doing lol Its just a feeling :) I re-read and i see nothing useful to what Thunder wants or answer to anyone i think, just before going to sleep -stresskilling-
Note the post count(1911 atm) < corresponds to something i like > (http://www.m1911.org/images/welcome.jpg)

hmm, incredible!
The feeding ramp is polished to a mirror sheen, the slide's been reinforced and the interlock with the frame is tightened for added precision.
The sight system is original too; the thumb safety is extended to make it easier on the finger; a long type trigger with non-slip grooves; a ring hammer and base of the trigger guard has been filed down for a higher grip. And not only that, nearly every part of this gun has been expertly crafted and customized... where did you get something like this?

O.o

ah right, i was a bit slow there looking back on it. i agree, sandy bridge has been released since the first post and even more stuff will be available by summer.

Haha epic, greatly described how a good looking pistol has to be lol, greatly gone off topic too.
Well Burnout, learn, learn, learn. Then come back here with proper system build with model numbers, deep details. Then we can discuss which part is good or bad.
Haha lol, i kept watching up three more parts and i might keep on lol.Metal gear always grabbed some interest from me :P

i doubt that card will even fit in such case, since that nox coolbay devil edition supports 10,5" cards, sapphire 6970 is around 15"
