Title: Killerbunnies SA:MP and AX friendly Wheels Mods
Post by: some_punk on August 02, 2010, 03:22:58 am
Well after a lot of testing and trying to fix bugs, here are the Killerbunnies's Wheels AX Mods

As you'll know, must to use IMGTOOL for remplace the files. If u dont have it you can download from the attachment from this post.
You need G-TXD or Txdworkshop in order to change textures of a certain wheel.

WHEELS:

          wheel_lr1 = Classic
          wheel_lr2 = Dollar
          wheel_lr3 = Twist
          wheel_lr4 = Wires
          wheel_lr5 = Trance

          wheel_sr1 = Cutter
          wheel_sr2 = Rimshine
          wheel_sr3 = Mega
          wheel_sr4 = Grove
          wheel_sr5 = Switch
          wheel_sr6 = Shadow

          wheel_gn1 = Import
          wheel_gn2 = Atomic
          wheel_gn3 = Ahab
          wheel_gn4 = Virtual
          wheel_gn5 = Access

          wheel_or1 = OffRoad

Some of the wheels come with alternative textures, so you can use the wheel as a different changing/switching each one, some wheels dont need textures it just goes as its is...

All wheels can work without textures, they arent necessary. But if you want ADD more efects to these wheels, you can add the textures or some cool shines.

If Madmax, Firebox, Epoxi and some other modder can add metal textures and cool efects for my wheels, I would greatly appreciate that.

I did a Complete Set Wheels for AdrenalineX: 17 wheels total. It will be sorted by names.

My mods are just simple 3D objects, it doesnt affect the performance in game even doesnt change the car handling. Doesnt take more memory in game. Doesnt cause lag or bugs.

You can change the name instead your favorite wheel on server, it wont affect the wheel or its working.

Here we go:

1. ACCESS

I hope that some modder help me with the textures, cuz in the pics it looks realistic, but in the game looks without textures and it takes a lil fun :( i added my own textures in 3dsmax but when i tried to export to DFF it caused some bugs.. thats why i didnt put texture on its.

I hope you upload some screenies with these wheels and new textures.

I tried the wheels and some of 'em mage my game laggy :P. Too many polygons?

If someone gets a little lag when the game loads the Rimshine wheels, it's because this wheel has a little error in textures assignment. I gonna wait until Firebox fix it hehehe  (rolleyes) he's expert in txd.

You'all can just REPLACE the DFF and ignore the TXD files. You dont need edit the veh_mods.ide

I dont use Zmodeler2 as Madmax-Epoxi-Firebox does, i use autodesk suite :( and my textures didnt assign them correctly when i tried to convert from 3ds to dff, i know that in zmodeler can assign textures with more accuracy. Init I can't load bones points or collision points in my 3Dsmax as Zmodeler2 does, i think that Zmodeler was created exclusively for video games :( im noob for to convert 3ds to dff.

NICE..... Hey do i have to replace the .ide file or just the txd's??
Title: Re: Killerbunnies SA:MP and AX friendly Wheels Mods
Post by: Mosca on September 25, 2010, 07:52:35 pm
.ide? wtf... that has nothing to do with these wheels.....

If I'm correct, the files you find in this thread are just .dff and are named something like this:

wheel_gn1.dff     or

wheel_or.dff        or

wheel_sr1.dff      or

wheel_lr1.dff

These files replace the .dff files of the wheels you find in the mod shops (Transfender, Loco Low and Arch Angels).
Depending on the file you replace so will the respective wheel.

e.g. wheel_gn5.dff = Access (wheels)

the part after 'wheel_' specifies wich wheel is it: gn is for the first 5 wheels in transfender list, lr for the first 5 wheels in loco low and sr for the first 6 wheels in arch angels; or for the offroad wheel.

To use them you have to use an .img editor (such as IMG tool 2.0 which is what I use). Find the files:

wheel_gn1.dff
wheel_gn2.dff
wheel_gn3.dff
wheel_gn4.dff
wheel_gn5.dff
wheel_or.dff
wheel_lr1.dff
wheel_lr2.dff
wheel_lr3.dff
wheel_lr4.dff
wheel_lr5.dff
wheel_sr1.dff
wheel_sr2.dff
wheel_sr3.dff
wheel_sr4.dff
wheel_sr5.dff
wheel_sr6.dff

...delete them and put the files in this thread. Rebuild archive.

Hope this helps.

Ok, going through all wheels. Too much to fix each individually.
So here is updated wheels (without textures, only specular lighting (looks better now))

Edit: added chrome version
