Title: [ANNOUNCEMENT] GTA V AX PROJECT

Hello everyone,

I'd like to announce that 66_nos, WeedO, ToasterMan and myself have started developing a GTA V server based on AX.

We had the idea running for a couple of weeks already, but it wasn't until today that we talked to mooman, and he gave us permission to do it under the AX name and racing system.

Given the huge growth of FiveM in the last year (with peaks of around 180k people per day), we've come to the conclusion that this is pretty much the best time to start with it. For anyone not aware, FiveM is an unofficial multiplayer mod for GTA V, just like SAMP for San Andreas, but with a bit fancier interface. Asides, there are no big and well developed FiveM racing servers out there yet, so we really think something big could come out of this.

Our primary purpose is to get a solid and stable beta that implements the AX code into GTA V, having similar features. Nos will start coding pretty much the next week.

Right now we're just 4 people, and we would be in need of people willing to participate in any way possible. I know many people on the AX community ain't got much time for these things anymore, but if anyone is interested in the project and would like to help, please let me know! I would love to see an AX style racing server on GTAV.  A dream come true that would be. 

I'm not familiar with LUA code and it differs from the coding AX was based on.

Wild card suggestion, probably not even possible:
MTA had a loader for SA-MP scripts that would take the code from a SA-MP script and run it through LUA.  Although this didn't work (Textdraw glitches was the first indication) I wonder if a loader could be created for the already existing AX script.  This might save a lot of work for NOS and his team but also creating a loader might not even be an option.  I'm clueless with LUA.

Hi again.

For anyone interested, AX on FiveM is getting close to reality as we already have the server up and running. However we will remain in a closed alpha stage for now, meaning no one apart from us will be able to join and test it out. Once we make sure most of the major bugs are fixed and the server is playable, we will eventually let in anyone who wants to lend a hand in the beta, where we will need people to make races and keep refining the server, trying to find all the less important bugs.

In the meantime, we would appreciate it if you could give the twitter account a follow and stay up for new tweets. RTs, favs and of course sharing them with anyone you know will also be greatly appreciated 🙂

The best racing server will be in FiveM! I will buy adversiting for this server in popular gta5 public in VK <3
