Meh, GTA V Online still doesn't entertain me.

Tried it again last weekend, spend ages with dumb retards in lobbys. And had not a single lobby with more then 3 racers in over 2 hours of trying to race, all of which kept disconnecting after one race.

The concept might be great, but the people playing it are shit.

Some of my recent works. They are cut by hand.

I'm planning on getting them framed and maybe light them up with an RGB-LED-system, which I ordered online.

Also, more variations in words and backgrounds are still in the work (recently got 3 project simultaneously on my desk...).

When I started working after university about 2 1/2 years ago, I was eager to finally do something, create and produce something relevant rather than just sitting and absorbing knowledge.

Now, I managed to get myself a more realistic point of view on the topic of work and joy.

If you love the matter of your work, things will piss you off. Often. Things will not happen like you want them to. You will not have the power of control to make things the way they should be to be good. They will always turn out as a agreement between different powers, as a huge pile of non-fitting parts made to fit so everyone can tell his boss he got it his way (or at least was able to say "No" to smth.). There will always be fights over who gets to decide. If you don't have to fight with your collegues, you will have to fight with your client (which is a lot more difficult and consumptive). Your work might consist of 20 % of actual work and 80 % communication (e.g. emails, client calls, meetings). This can be frustrating and kill your motivation at all.

Now you might ask yourself: "But what should I do about it?"

I don't say that this can be applied to all jobs and companies. But these tips are my conclusion after 2 1/2 years in a very stressful job:

1. Always give 100 %. If you love it, give 120 %. Never give 80 % (this might get you fired…).

2. Do it like you would do it for yourself. Half-assing the job will get you a shitty reputation amongst co-workers and clients faster then you can say "Please don't let me go".

4. Fight for your ideas.

5. Nevertheless, your ideas might sometimes not work. Accept this as a fact when proven so. Be open to "kill your baby".

6. Doing things extra-good from the beginning might save your ass when you fuck up something later.

7. Always have a plan B. For everything.

8. If things piss you off, say it out loud in a reasonable situation and language. Keeping silent and then leaving is for cowards.

9. If you leave, make it clean. No matter how fucked up everything was, look forward and start fresh, don't waste your time and energy and creating more mess than there already is.

What about spam detection and advertisment mails?

Right now, I get one mail with a roundup of all mails which were filtered as spam (which is pretty handy cause you don't miss a mail in spamfilter). But I also get 1-2 mails/day from the service itself with (annoying) advertisment.

I use GMX right now, have been using it for nearly 10 years for everything. A switch would be a really big assload of changing mails EVERYWHERE, so I'm still not sure about it...

Is GMail any good?

I like the interface and the service itself, but I'm kinda pissed of at all this "In order to use [insert Google service ] you have to register for [insert other Google service]"-bullshit that is happening with Youtube/Google+ and I don't want to repeat this again.

Kinda like the idea.

How about this:

2 Groups.

1. Group "The Attackers"
2. Group "The Escapers

"Escapers" have to race to a finish, maybe with 3-5 CP on the way. "Attackers" have a time limit to keep the "Escapers" away from the finish line (aka destroy them).

Maybe to complicated for AX mode, but I like the idea.

Why do you always post download links?

A streaming site is much more convenient and I guess a lot more people would watch your videos...

Depends a lot were you buy/sell these.

I have a VW Bus dealer near me who has a whole parking lot full of T2 - T5 and not a single one below 2.000 Euros (no matter which condition they are in).

Lol, I wasn't prepared to explain the whole service here  :L

You get basic insurance from the company, although you have a deterrent fee of 500 euro.

If you need more info, visit:

Don't think it is worth it.

The car can (and is constantly) tracked via mobile phone signal. You need a member card to unlock the car, this unlocking most likely gets logged. Then you need a valid pin to unlock the ignition on a touch screen, which gets logged too. There are a lot things inside the car build for this carsharing usage and there are probably a lot of security measures you still don't know about. Maybe they can lock the car remotely or switch it off. Or other stuff. They danger of being caught is too high of a risk for stealing a quite cheap car. At least in my country.

Depends a lot on the time. When it's work traffic a.k.a. rush hour, tram might be faster. Early in the morning or late in the evening, car is faster. But mainly I use it in certain situations, for example if you missed the last tram, or the tram can't drive because of a car blocking the tracks and you have a meeting etc.

It's just nice to have this "backup" besides public transportation, without the downsides of owning a car like maintenance, insurance, gas etc.

HUE HUE FANNEY!

yeh, it's car2go, a car sharing company owned by Smart. They offer cars in a lot of big cities (not only in Germany), you can just enter a free one and drive within the city boundaries and pay by minutes. You enter with an electronic card, inside you find the key and unlock it again with a pin. Pretty simple and useful.

I pay around 5 Euros for a drive from work to home, which is about 20 minutes.
