Off-Topic / Best Free Antivirus

The free period of the antivirus that originally came with my notebook is about to expire, and I'd like to know what free antivirus is the best to install. The main options are Avast, AVG and Avira not because I personally prefer them, but because some people recomended me those. If you vote ''Other'' please specify

btw I use the notebook mainly for internet and files in word, excel, etc, if that's relevant...
