Played this yesterday, neat little game with cool graphics and challenging gameplay. Although just a "mini-game" (start to full finished in probably 3-6 hours) and a little pricey, I can definetly recommend this.

Some reviews:

Kotaku

“Grow Home's charming personality, feel-good physics, and satisfying controls make for a beautiful climbing adventure.”
8.8 – IGN

“....It oozes charm and personality.”
8.5 – Destructoid

Updated yesterday, was done from first click to finished in 16 minutes (SSD ftw).

First impression is good, we will see the next weeks where this goes.

Even as a Volkswagen fan (and previously VW driver), I wouldn't recommend the Polo GT. People already said why, parts are expensive and you spend a lot of the money on the brand, not the actual quality of the car. Not good when budget is limited.

I would go for the Toyota Corolla, the brand is reliable and the car has been build in such great numbers that parts tend to be cheap and always available.

Also, don't let yourself get fooled into buying a small car (like the ones chosen by you) in a "sport configuration" like the Polo GT. Keep in mind that the manufacturers still have to make them cheap, so they mostly aren't that "sporty" or tend to have a high wearout. IMO it's better to have a basic running/reliable engine and some extras in the car (like AC, good radio system, good seats etc.) than a "fast" car with no extras/comfort at all.

(Side story: A friend of mine drove a modified Polo with large chrome rims and an after-market racing chassis suspension. Every trip above 5 km was a REAL pain in the ass. Literally.)

Edit: Also, if you have a "car friend" take him with you to look at the car. Or when having chosen one, bring it into a shop and let them make a check-up. There are a lot of scammers out there who sell cars with broken motor blocks or near-death transmissions.

Using right hand on arrows to drive and left hand on WASD to look around/behind. I found mouse view always kinda distracting when driving.

Only case when mouse view is helpful is in parking garages or other tight turns. I suck at these races.

BMW 116i (E87) from 2005. Bought it cause I changed my place of work and now need a car for the 60 km/day.

No matter what you think of Porsche, you should watch this. Make sure to turn up the volume, or you are missing the point of this video.

If you think "Who is this hobo and why does he drive a Porsche", this is Magnus Walker, famous Porsche 911 collector and restorer. Check out his blog for more awesome videos and pictures of 911's of any kind: http://magnuswalker911.blogspot.de/

And btw, this is the video that got him famous, posted by Porsche themselves:

Now that we all agree on the "what the fuck"-level of this, take a second and let the fact sink in, that somebody spend at least some hours to get this idea and actually make this.

PS3 group was dead from the beginning, no one online to play with.

Problem is: PC has a main advantage of a good voice chat (TS, Mumble, etc.), the PS voicechat is a mess and total crap.

RSD has a quite active group of PC players, I'm sure anyone can join us. Although we always use teamspeak when playing.

Lag effects the connection, meaning every communication between your pc and the server. If your pc starts sending unusual responses (doubled/missing/etc. signal) to the server, it can't solve these and starts sending back the results of it.
