Another reason why it just can't be an atomic nuke: Nuclear radiation levels are monitored all over Europe, just think of Tschernobyl. A nuke (even from a small bomb) will sooner or later appear on these stations, and even the seperatists wont risk that. Putin would be forced to give up his support because of international pressure and this would be the end of them.

As MadMax pointed out, it seems to be more like a big uncontrolled explosion from an ammunition depository or something alike and I think the fog/weather tricks the eye in regard to size and shape of the blast (Fire and its glow can be seen really far at night compared to daylight).

Hey guys, thanks for all the input, has helped me really a lot. This is the final components list, everything is ordered and I managed to get it just below 1k  :L

Gonna post pictures when build is ready  8)

Yeah, I'm thinking of cutting the cooler and maybe upgrade this later (if neccessary). Really want to have "matching" core components (cpu, gpu, ram), so nothing of it creates a bottle neck for performance.

The PC can get louder when gaming, you can't really prevent that anyway. But my comparison is said "turbine" from the old days, so maybe I'm probably just a little too worried about it.

Also, I'll just go with the SSD first, cause I got a 3 TB HDD in an external case already in use, I would transfer it into the PC later.

In regards to the RAM, is there really so much difference with dual channel? I did some research and basically every source I found was like "Meh, not significant, you wont notice".

Edit:

Wohoo! Below 1k!

The PC is intended for mainly gaming usage, but I want to be able to work on it at home too (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects), so multi-threading would be a big bonus but not neccessary.

I took the lower graphic card because I already reached my financial limit, which is 1.000 EUR, the build should be under this limit. But I don't know where else I should cut down. My main fear is of creating the monster again I sent to trash before I bought my recent laptop. It was a turbine in a plastic bling-bling case. So silence and quality is really important, at least in regard to cpu cooler and case.

Just to clarify: I have little to no knowledge of pc components, the parts above were chosen by the criteria of "price I would be willing to pay for this" and "reviews that recommend this component". So any suggestions on making this cheaper/better fitting are very welcome.

i7 is not a must, but the i5 should be of "higher range", cause I'm looking for a long lasting system, don't want to upgrade in the next 2-4 years. I've chosen the i7 cause it was recommended in a review, but anything cheaper with slightly lower performance would be totally okay. Any recommendations for a good i5?

I found the AMD gpu's to be cheaper then the Intel, is there any reason in that? I'm not really focused on any of the two, looking for best price-performance ratio and what fits the other components the best.

In regards to the MB, I really have no clue of these, so your suggestions should be just fine for the system, not planning on OC or SLI/Crossfire at all.

Does anybody have some suggestions on this? Replacing my old laptop and looking for a semi-silent gaming/working machine.

If you have a serious interest in selling your art on etsy or similar sites, pm me. I'm planning a shop myself and could give you some starting tipps.

Ever thought (or already have?) of creating an DeviantART or etsy account?

You could sell your drawings or just show them to a professionel community.

Unban Requests / Re: Ban?
« on: January 24, 2015, 05:29:39 pm »
Hello,

your first ban was for speedhack. As you don't seem to have written an unban request when this occured, I take this as a confession.

The two evades all happened today, I wrote the second ban in a bad temper because you had the boldness of coming back with even the same registered name. From the date of the first ban plus 2 weeks for the evades you can come back on 24/11/2016.

The ban rules (= 2 years) apply to everybody, including you. Cheating with speedhack is not some sort of little boy joke on a professionel racing server. If you continue to evade and playing games with the admin team, a temp ban will be coming. Changing your IP will then have no effect anymore and your punishment will be even longer.

Best regards, nero

Edit:

Just found this: http://forum.adrenalinex.co.uk/index.php/topic,6353.msg152893.html

You tricked Agus into unbanning you with an old account you created 2 years ago, lying about your real name and ban reason. Acting like this will not get you anywhere here.

There seems to be some language/color mix up in german language regarding /like and /dislike.

See screenshot and code:

Code: [Select]

[RATING] {FFFF00}You no longer dislike this race
[RATING] {FFFF00}Du magst dieses Rennen nicht mehr
[RATING] {FFFF00}Dieses Rennen hast du noch nicht bewertet

I'm not sure if the wrong english line produces the mixup.

The correct way would be the following (as far as I can see, the mixup is really confusing):

Code: [Select]
[RATING] {00FF00}Du magst dieses Rennen weiterhin
[RATING] {00FF00}Von nun an gefällt dir dieses Rennen wieder
[RATING] {00FF00}Du magst dieses Rennen

Would be interesting for duel races, so it's more competitive.

But for normal races, the pure chaos of having 6 cars in front or inside you would probably make any driver less concentrated.
