Me, Max and Joee was discussing about making all time trial races into a merge+ghostmode race.
Since changing all TTs manually would be a bad idea, you could change it in the script, so everytime someone created a new time trial race it becomes merge+ghostmode automatically.
We can still have time trial races, but create a new script for them.
For example, lets say racetype = the grid style.
racetype 1 = one world
racetype 2 = normal
racetype 3 = time trial.
So, instead of changing all races to a new racetype, we could make racetype 3 the new mode and create a new racetype to be the classic timetrial mode.

Yeah I suggested all tts being changed to merge gm a while ago, did a poll but people voted against it as far as I remember. I dont see why though, us whores get to have a clean undisturbed run while the new players get a sense of competition. They also see first place isn't cheating which I feel like a lot of new players think the fast guys are cheating, it's what I thought when I first joined

I agree. TT kind of gets boring. GM would make a player feel competitive when he sees the player drive faster than him/her.
