Look at this.
Using this Filterscript you can edit ALL cars in the game, using car parts id's and attaching them to the car.
That's what i mean:

Thats extacly what I mean, but instead just tuning parts, wanna go bit further, than just car tuning parts... more fun stuff like these:

Don't know if it's possible, cause basically you can't edit .dff file of a car without modding it (2nd and 3rd screen); But adding some objects on car (1st screen) like weapons, car parts, funny stuff it's possible.
Would be funny if you can edit every single car through your profile and automatically load it when you start a race, imagine all this tuned car on the grid, everything will be more interesting.
Look at all this decorations.

What i'm trying to say, is that it's possible add items to car, probably will be boring place it in the good position but you can easily do it in game using this (ObjectEditor).

these are not mods, tuning parts also have object IDs

my question: aren't things like surfboards solid objects which could change the flip behaviour when applied on a roof like that?

I know, but if you take a look on 2nd and 3rd screen, you can't do this using object's ids, unless you mod the car.
