Right... whenever I try to run SA-MP I get blue screen, why is this happening? :p

Yeah like every other game I have works... when I open single player SA I just get a black screen and have to use task manager, it's only SA-MP being a dick. I'll try what Jal said when I get round to it, thanks!

Just done what Jal suggested, I got this one:

0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Apparently it's almost always a hardware error but other games seem to work fine and I've tried cleaning my PC out and updating drivers and shit, SA-MP and SA still don't work...

From my experience this is most likely related to the RAM.
Could be faulty chip of memory or even worse memory controler drying on your motherboard.
If you have empty memory slot on motherboard you can try put your chip there.

Well it seems to be a RAM problem, my PC crashed when I rendered with Vegas a few days ago because of lack of RAM... tried moving the chips to the only empty slots on my motherboard and still no luck :/ new PC time, I'm guessing?
