I remember Love making a video similar to this ages ago but I couldn't find it
and since I was messing with snik yesterday i decided to put this together.

Since Snik didn't really understand the issue with 300+ ping players, I'm sure
there's a bunch of experienced players on aX that also aren't really sure about it
(not to mention newer players).

So check this out and i dunno maybe you'll learn something new.

I experienced it a lot of times when I thought I passed someone, but only passed his "image" so when I got in front I got spun out.

I didn't know that you can ram +300 ping players if you're driving 3 cars lenght in front of opponent. Next time I will know how to ram you vert

when im racing.... i go like 8 meters in front of you ....and in the clock says that someone is in front of me by 0.500 seconds, as if I go next to someone... i remember when [uXC]Young was angry easily when "i rammed him" lol... in my screen im always going ahead

sometimes high ping players are behind you but in real are the front. easy to catch lag and push or ram others.

i have a car length lag. i tested it with M4 and i was ramming him in the front but he saw ramming me behind. in that race we unbelievably synchronized lags and set highscores. he was pushing me and i was pushing him at the same time!

Yeah sometimes we laggers can get others to push us after a mistake without you even knowing lol. Can also use your images as battering rams lol. However this is not good <>

Ping limit 200. Good idea vert.

Well, it is shocking to see how far back the trail is.

But, I think if me and Snoopy made a video, it wouldn't be as shocking. The problem comes from players from countries thousands(guess?) of miles away from the server. Pings of 300+.
For example, the only two people who created a video to demonstrate this are an Aussie and a Filipino.

why do videos lag when watching them embedded with 1080p?

EDIT: i tested with internet explorer and it no longer lags. could just be ANOTHER problem with opera

is there any problem of lags/rams when 2 players with a ping of 500 race together ?

sorry if it sounds silly

but if it s ok, can a server increase latency to a min value for all racers? (400 by example)

it would sort problems with high ping players

My ping is around 200-ish and the "image apartness" is not as great as vertigo's. So I think the lower your ping the smaller is the distance

I think you don't get the point of this thread lol. It's not How To Avoid Damn Laggers but how to deal with players having various pings.
