I agree that most people don't like long races, personally I was begging to play this track, then I voted restart so we could do it again. I like to get into the race and focus and 2 minutes of racing just doesn't do it for me. But yeah it's hard to make a long race and have it be good with some kind of direction, in this case mooman made a total SA race and made it work. I made a 15 minute race that went through every city and every airport, I think 80% of it was good but towards the end it was too straight and boring.
