Revised my tutorial slightly, snikeris, the only directory you need to know, is the copied folder of san andreas, which you renamed. Install, Extract it all to there.  8)

Urm, i have followed the instructions but don't have a 'gtaump.exe' file....

And GTA_SA.exe keeps crashing...

I made a copy of the current GTA folder in the Rockstar Games folder and called it GTA United
I then installed the GTA United 1.1 Final Hotfix.exe
The extracted the contents of the RAR GTA_United_BETA_1.1_b_HOTFIX[gta-worldmods.de].rar in a temp directory and ran Hotfix.exe into the same GTA United folder.
Then i extracted the contents of gtau_client_t1.zip into the same folder.

This works on single player (it didn't before weirdly enough, maybe its because the compatibility mode is now and on and wasn't before).

Ok, i have it now. 'gtaump.exe' is just the renamed samp.exe right?

I have it all working now, but have getting the million error pop ups after closing it like i used yo with SAMP before they released the X revision.

What did I do wrong when the normal GTAU starts after clicking on Multiplayer?

Devil knows it, cause I've had it before and he helped me out :P

It was something with the MultiPlayer stuff pointing to the wrong map, that made it cause to open normal GTAU... But I totally forgot in which part of the installation that was... and I don't wanna do it all over again.. :P

Help me  :)

Launch your new cleint (gtaump.exe) and select the item highlighted above. Select your new directory.

everytime i minimize gtau, it just closes when i try to re-enter the game, i've tried changing the compatability's but hasnt made any difference :(

i have hotfix 1.1 and still no different. is there any newer hotfixes? cba to look

Ah ffs. Its not working. Some bug crash report pops out and ive done evrything what R has told.

Hey thx, but I saw it was my own mistake.. copied it into the wrong folder  :D

copy the folder to 1 folder higher..

2. Is it must to be in /progam files/rockstar games/gtau ?

3. And that gtau client must be extracted directly to gtau folder or just keep it in gtau_client folder ?

it won't make any difference if you do. but open gtaump.exe not samp.exe

it can be any folder
