1971 360 block, 8:1 compression
1971 W2 heads from a 340, 2.02" intake valves and 1.88" exhaust valves
Comp flat tappet cam with hydraulic lifters- Duration 260/272, Lift .470/.492
Edelbrock aluminum air gap intake
Holley 670 Street Avenger carb
727 Torqueflite, 5 disc 12 spring front clutch pack, 5:1 kickdown arm, billet servos
3/8 stainless custom bent transmission cooling lines with swagelok compression fittings
8 3/4 posi rearend, 741 housing
Rebuilt 20:1 manual steering box, new bushings and caged roller bearings
Stainless flex fan
Battery in the trunk
I replaced cam bearings, main bearings, valve guides, overhauled the entire transmission, new axle seals on the rearend ETC...
Pulling the old 318
After I put in new main bearings, piston rings, and finally cam bearings
I bought a book and pulled the ENTIRE transmission apart and rebuilt it
(long before it was finished, I took the power steering right the fuck out and swapped in a manual gearbox I rebuilt myself)
