This winter has hit Bristol with the heaviest snow-falls that we've seen in a long time. Shoveling is a chore, and I was sore, but then I stopped and just looked around. It was wonderful to get to appreciate the beauty of the snow -- wet and heavy and hanging on the trees, blanketing the houses and lawns. It's hard to capture in a picture, but I tried.

Universe is fulfilled with interesting and shocking things.This one is also one of them.One side goes like summer one side falls under white phew.

At the moment I'm at one of my friends their house, they got electricity (lucky them lol). I hope I get some power soon again or I'll have a fucking annoying night. :P
Btw, I did buy some candles lol, dunno if the power will be back when I'm back home.

I live in London. Surprisingly, I only have a couple of drifts in my driveway and by my front door. However, the street right in front of my house is blocked by a HUGE drift. So big, a snow plow got stuck in it this morning. Hopefully, the wind lets up later tonight so they can clear the street and I can get out in the morning.

Thanks for being that optimistic!
But you're right in some way.
But you all think that our biggest problem is the sea level rising... another big problem is Netherlands is sinking of the ground.
Netherlands always have been fighting against the water.. and since a few centuries we occupied big parts of land where once was water(we pumped it away and still pumping to keep dry feet). Nowadays the sea level is rising and we gotta heighten up our dikes. Where I live at the moment is at the border of where the sea will come at his max when we didn't have dikes.
How the Netherlands will survive throughout this century? It's a big mystery to me.. nobody actually knows how fast the sea level will rise. Only thing we can hope for is that we don't become part of the sea or Europe will miss a big economy and an access to Europe. (Netherlands is the gateway to Europe).

I just looked it up and, where I live in Groningen(at my student room) is 1 a 2 meter above sea level. Where my parents live is about 7 meters above sea level I guess.

If you set it at 0m you're at sea level. The site doesn't take dikes in account, so don't get scared after you set it at +1 sea level rising, it won't all flood. The dikes in the Netherlands are all like 7,65 meter high. There are people who check the condition of the dikes at all time, with some help of electronics of course.

And most Brazilian people don't even have internet.. and you know about the so called favela's, or slums, in english. That ain't nice places at all, drugs and violence rule the streets. Our world is beautiful at the one, but ugly at the other side. It's just a thing people need to see, can't show them all the nice beaches and forgot about the slums..

Brazil is one of the richest countries of the world, the big problem is the division of income among the population, few people have much money, and many people have little money, and if I do not remember correctly 52 percent of the population now has access Internet, about 90 million people

Good health and just doing some things which can help to warm if you feel cold. Well people who lives in North are used to cold lol. Winters were colder before 10-15 years though :D

If i grab a person from Alaska to my home he would move around with underwear.If i send him to you he might die from heat.(not) :L Our bodies fit themselves to the temperature.Think you have 2 layer of clothes on yourself.If you let out one youll feel cold but after some time youll feel better and maybe dont feel cold at all.K i cant give pro info about it.If youre willing, go for it lol

girlfriend just told me via phone that she had an affair with another guy today... and she hang up. i kept callin her for 3 hours but she isnt pickin' up the phone. i gave her myself, loved her more than anyone. man, dunno what to do... if its someone else i'd break up without thinkin' ... and frankly im not sure what to do. damn.

omg lol thats a huge difference, here (home) we are gettin up to 30 at noon and with the afternoon rains everyday it goes back down to 23-25 at night, at the university its a very different thing, its a short distance, but weather is different, early in the morning its like 19, at noon, depending if the morning was foggy or not it can get to 22(foggy) or 28+(not foggy). With rain in the afternoon almost every day it goes down to 10-18 at night and fog can get VERY thick.

lol nope, all players from CR wanted the game to be stopped (and some players from USA said they couldn't even see what was going on), but Klinsmann almost cried about it and made the ref continue the game. Also when the president of our federation got to the situation room he said that everybody was already gone and that a decision was made without consulting our side.

That's what I heard as well.
somebody is lying to world press there is a formal complaint at FIFA and we have the support of all Central America and Mexico, US ambassador is also on our side (bloody traitor XD). Our players didn't want to play and some of theirs also complained about visibility and terrain but Klinsmann did all in his power so the match was not stopped. If we were the ones winning, things would be very different.
