How about adding a shoutbox in forum since is available from SMF so players can contact faster admins or inform admins on forum about hackers if there are no admins ingame, plus its a nice way to chat! ;)

Same, I've seen it before on the AboveUltimate forum and it works well there. I dunno how the forum's lasted until now before someone suggested it...

They're all good, but it would be better if there was a mixture of both, so you can send messages to everyone or just individual people.

Also theme and version of forum can be updated or changed with more features and stats like the version that Joe showed.

ok , i think it is possible becouse there is in setting of forum named tagboard
for other chatbox there is "Chat provided by Mibbit"

Right side of main page sits empty pretty much alot, what about that spot ? Also you can take attention on news board at the left with it.Thus post more news and details :)

Just next to the IRC button up top have a Chat Box button
and add a chat box in there that kinda looks like what scorpion posted
