Level 2 admins should get some kind of command or an option in buildmode to
swap the first two grid CPs with eachother reverse the order of grid CPs, because there are too many races where a player that's supposed to start first ends up behind the 2nd (or in some cases even 4th player) due to sloppy grid placement by the racemaker.

I'm pretty sure they can just edit the race, and republish it.

No, the issue is related to the order the grid CPs were placed in, which can not be changed in the buildmode menu.
Maybe you didn't quite understand what I mean:

Cake is right. We can't change the grid order right now.
It's a good idea imo. +1

Oh, I was under the assumption that when they edited a race, the same menu appeared like you were in normal build mode. (Change cars, weather, mode etc.)
-
It does, but you can't change grid position in that menu.
-
I think this is largely unnecessary. It's an inconvenience that occurs by accident in a few races and on purpose in a few too. Not a big deal I wouldn't have thought.

Consider it a 'wish'

Added. The command is /gridcycle. It shifts the grids by 1 so the (n+1)th grid becomes the nth. So the 2nd grid becomes the 1st, 3rd becomes the 2nd... etc.. and finally the 1st loops around becomes the last. In the case of a race with 2 spawns the 2nd grid becomes the 1st and the 1st becomes the last (i.e. 2nd), so it simply swaps them.

Extra info: the admin has to type /edit first and /saverace after
