AdrenalineX Football Championship / Games left to be played

Here's a list of the teams that haven't met yet, to make it easier. If there aren't enough games played by the end of the month, the event will be closed, if there are only a couple of games left until then, I'll leave it open.

It's been a while since we've last had a game... Would be nice if we can try and finish this... I think we should try to get as many players online as possible next sunday to have a few games that weren't played yet (sunday is when most people are playing, surely it's a bit annoying because there are more lags, but this event is just for fun anyway so who cares).

A bit over half of the games were played (one team seems too inactive, the team "I'm not sure", so in case we decide to delete them from the championship there'll be only a few games left).

If it goes too long without a game I guess we'll have to end the event.


This football event was mostly a test to see how it's going, if it would work well to make other football events, what we should change if so... Which is why I didn't really set any restriction to players joining the event, if I organize another football event there surely will be only players with a relatively low ping accepted, only really active players accepted (a few unactive players had join this one...).
If you have other suggestions, if you think it'd be good to organize other football events by changing a few things, suggest some new rules or anything... feel free to make another topic (so we don't stay off-topic here).

So if we want to stop people from using it just as an instant brake, maybe what we could do is:
- old /F possible only at low speeds, and also only possible when you're actually not flipped (like now with the new /F).
And on high speeds, keep the new /F. There should be a possibility to make it switch from old /F to new /F according to the speed, right?

Because the new /F is not very useful, no offence to the scripters, you're doing a great job.

Well you can still be a ball if you're online while 2 teams are playing, you just need to be aware of the rules so there's no misunderstanding, have a timer, and I'm think you've got a good ping and a reliable connection so that's fine.

I just thought about adding a rule:
"Each team has to manage and schedule at least one game a week otherwise the team will be disqualified."

What do you think? I thought about 7 days or 10 days.

The Rules

-Each game will last for 20 minutes, 2 half-times of 10 minutes each. The referee will have to stop the time every time the game is stopped.

-When a player flies away/is thrown away of the field, he has to drive back to the field. Using /goto is strictly forbidden. The game is not stopped while a player is out of the field. It is stopped if the ball is thrown out of the field.

-If a player timeouts, the game is not stopped, the player who crashed can only come back between a legitimate game stoppage (goal or ball out of the field).

-Any ramming, blocking etc is allowed (and encouraged). Use of /f is allowed.

-Points will be counted as: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 for a loss. Teams will play against each other once. All teams will have to play against each other. Please do not participate if you don't plan to keep playing until the end of the event. In case of a draw in points between 2 teams, the number of goals scored will be used for the ranking, if it's still a draw, it's then the lowest number of goals against.


Punishments:

-If the referee/ball sees a player using a teleporting command during the game, or speedboost, or joining the game after a timeout without waiting for a game stoppage, the punishment will be a simple warning for the first time of the game. Second warning in the same game to the same player will lead to a direct loss of the game for the team by a score of 5-0, and the player will not be allowed to take part in the next game. Third warning for a player in the whole event will lead to a disqualification of the player.

Note to referees: please note down when a player commits a "foul".

It's time to set some times when teams can meet for the games!

Just discuss here about when you're available.

As for me, I'm available most of the time on week days in the evening/night (between 8-9PM server time and 1-2AM) and in the week-ends it's more on sunday, sometimes during the day sometimes just in the evening/night.

For the players that didn't register in any team, I made an auto assignment, but if there's still no news until the games are being scheduled they'll be disqualified! (check first post to see in which team you are).

You can still register, but only if you find 2 teammates first (whether they're not registered or registered with no (full) team yet) as now only team registrations are open.
