Title: Micro stutters with AMD GPUs
Post by: Terrorfist on February 17, 2017, 03:09:54 am: I'm just wondering if anyone with an AMD card have micro-stutters in SA-MP? I'd get 100fps with 1280x720 but the stutter is there.

I've also noticed this with an older HD 5450, now with my laptop the problem is there. It doesn't have any problems with NVIDIA though.

My laptop specs:
AMD A8 7200P
4GB ram
500GB HDD
Radeon R5 + Radeon R5 M230 2GB

When i first played without my GPU i was hitting 70fps max, but after a week i started to hit 100fps all the time with huge drops and stuttering very often.

You can try to update all your drivers and then delete gta_sa.set.

I will say this but deleting gta_sa.set will never fix the stutters.

I just then realized that AMD/ATi never paid attention on some older games and this one is included. Upgrading the drivers wouldn't help.
