Round 2 has begun!

Same stuff as usual. Tested it a lot again and seems good. Enjoy!

This round will run the usual 3 days, so it should close on Sunday, so around 72 hours from now.

So guys, Tourney 3 is underway, complete with rubbish graphics

So as you guys should know, ask an admin to enter you into the tourney
and then type /tourney to begin!

Tested this one heaps of times and didn't find any bumps and such.
Use your map knowledge to your advantage!

also, I'll be away until thursday, so round 1 will go for 4 days instead of 3. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ok guys, just a quick practice round so everyone can get familiar with the commands and shit. Just follow these steps:

1. Ask an admin to add you to the tournament
2. Once you are added, type /tourney to begin (keep in mind, once you press enter, this is your ONE and ONLY chance and it begins IMMEDIATELY).
3. Do the race as fast as you can.
4. Complain about bumps and bad CP's
5. You have finished this round!

Ok so officially, the vehicles that have been chosen by the voters are:

Buffalo - 24 votes
Bullet - 30 votes
Cheetah - 30 votes
Sultan - 26 votes
Super GT - 26 votes
Turismo - 26 votes

NRG-500 - 21 votes

There were 4 cars on 19 votes, and we only need 3, so this vote is just gonna decide which 3 of the 4 are gonna make it into the tourney.

Other Rules:
You get ONE attempt at the race.

You will have approx 3 days to get your run in. If you don't do it in time you miss out, no excuses or second chances.

Once the tournament has started, I won't be allowing people to join mid way.

NO CHEATING. No speccing people on their runs, no 'give me a second chance i timed out' no nothing.
If you cheat you are a scumbag and I'll ban you from the server.

Ok guys so, thought instead of picking myself, I'd let the participants choose which vehicles they wanted in the tourney.

So pick which 12 you would like to see (1 for each of the 12 rounds).

I haven't listed every vehcile purely because there is no point lol. See how it goes lol.

I'll only choose 2 bikes, since they are pretty similar (if they even come on top of the voting).

Also if you want another car added just say so.

Hey guys,

Before we get started with the new tournament, I wanted to have a vote to see what you guys wanted to have as the format.

Don't think a WRC style will work cause it will be harder to add times than points and harder to catch up than with points,
so we'll leave it between knockout and F1 style points.

Any other ideas? Post them bellow.

I think I've mentioned this before.

Basically if u have /vcc for all your cars, you can use /removcc to remove all of the individual car colours you have made,
so that then the regular /vc applies to all the cars again.

Off-Topic / Registry bleh

So i installed an old game for some fun (NFS III if you were interested) and I was looking for something
to increase the max resolution. Anyway I found a program and it says I have to go thru the registry to
make it work. Anyway I look through regedit but the problem is there is no folder for the game there, so
basically the game is installed but there's nothing in the registry? I'm guessing this is also why I can't run
3DSETUP.EXE Anyway how can I fix this?

Also I can't fraps on it, but I'm guessing If i fix the other problem, it'l fix this too.

Over the past week I've been getting around 500 ping instead of 350. I don't think it's on my side cause everything else is normal? Any problems server side?

Suggestions / number of spawns etc.

Hey R wondering if you worked on this at all. This being:

When you select a number of spawns, that only 1 vehicle spawns at that spawn spot,
not 2 cars like it is at the moment. This give more flexibility as you can have just one
person spawning at that grid, the same way that you could have 2, 3 or 4 just depending
on how many people you put in the world limit. e.g 4 spawns with 8 world limit would give
2 cars behind each spawn, 6 spawns with 6 world limit would have 1 car at each spawn,
5 spawns with 15 world limit would give 3 behind each spawn and so on.

Would like for this to be implemented into buildmode.

yeah really minor and doesn't really affect anything but i came accross this



I think it happens when you join /tt after the race has finished.

Both times it happened i got the 3rd place finishers name
