No problems. New server is working fine.

We will be rebooting the following servers at 23:00 UTC 14/03/2012 to complete the installation of security updates;
NL1
UK2
FR1
All other servers are unaffected and will remain online.
The downtime due to this is expected to be no more than 15 minutes. Multiple reboots may be required.
If you have an event scheduled between 23:00 and 23:15 and are unable to change the timing, please contact support as soon as possible so we may reboot the server at an alternative time.
Should explain why server might of been offline last night.

EDIT: Seems like Tourney3_Round12 is causing the freeze. Yesterday it did too Gen restarted the server. Now max loaded another race and worked.. so seems like its that race.

It was that 204cp race again, although the race name was Foursome-IV, although Foursome-IV is in SF and this was not.

I did the restart 'fixes most problems' then the other one 'fixes all problems'. THe second one made it crash apparently, (before it just didn't work, server was still on). Not the first time it does that (every time I tried it crashed :/). Is there another restart?

I guess. Each time I did the all problems one, I noticed the loading of the page was very long, not just today.

yeah it always takes ages. anyway, the way i fixed server was by using the all problems option 10 minutes after you tried. in fact, whenever i usually "magically" fix the server all i am doing is trying that option and waiting if it doesn't work. in other words, keep pressing restart and you won't need me )

Well i played whole morning this is what happend;
We had some crashes before but whole the time the server came back.
Then it didn't so i asked Gen to restart but that didn't work either..

I agree to some extent, I mean take a look at me compared to how I used to be. But attacking the server is a crime in my eyes and it's taking it too far. Cheating I can understand an unban.

Do you use a root server or a virtual server?
RSD always used a root server, and we had ddos attacks too, but none of them actually did a full crash on the server.
Edit: What just came to my mind: When someone is crashing the server via ddos, he probably wants to see the result and reactions of players, so he probably is connected to the server during the attack. Maybe you can look and find out who it is with this?

Virtual but we have a different IP to the other virtual servers so our host can tell us if we're the ones being attacked. The last time I asked, we weren't the target. I don't know about these attacks today though.

rip ax, hopefully this bs doesn't happen during tourney. i think if the server crashes while you're doing your run you should get a rerun, 'cause how is anyone gonna predict that? and the person driving shouldn't have to take the fall for some d-bag attacking the server's host. however, if it's a personal crash (router stops working or game crashes) then yeah no retries for that as it's pretty easy to force a timeout.

Hola, Im having a problem. The sa:mp client shows to me server is online, but when I try to enter, I cant connect. I have the correct ping, and Ive checked it, and Ive seen people enter and leaving, from 15 to 17 players and then to 13. I've reinstalled sa:mp client, and deleted gta.set. I've told to a friend from Tenerife (Wavves) to check it, and he has the same problem (cause Im in Canary Island too, right now). I think maybe its an ISP issue, since whe have just the same company and bandwidth*?. I've saw Torete_[GT] online, and Core_i7 too. One player from my country and another from South America, which shows its not distance the problem. Fuck my english. Any idea?

Just to check server ping , up time etc. So if owners want i can host AdrenalineX for free of charge as i like to play on it and it is one of best racing servers on samp. You can at least try it that won't cost you nothing.

Game Control Panel that include full control of all server settings + start /stop , auto restart on script failure or server failure (e.g server is running 24/7 until STOP button is pressed) Even if whole gaming server crash upon starting all servers start with it. Realtime server console view , logs and files view and edit from panel etc....
Mysql database , FTP access , 1000 slots and much more.
I may be the only idiot in the samp community offering this service to someone for free but it is a shame to see server like Adrenaline Racing to have non stop hosting problems. do a tracert to play.adrenalinex.co.uk and any other servers you can't connect to and you will see where the problem is. 20 players are online now so the issue seems to be quite localised

It's because you have IPv6 so detecting your IPv4 IP address that SAMP uses is kind of difficult. I'm working on it.

In some cases it may be a disservice hosting, and not necessarily an attack. Anyway, not so easy to stop that kind of attacks. For example, even huge companies like Sony (or government institutions) may fall victim to these attacks. It takes a bit of patience...

DDoS attack sending hundreds/thousands of fake join requests per second. The firewall automatically rejects most of them to protect the server and allow those already connected to play without lag. If you keep trying you might be able to connect but the chances aren't high.
