Hi there,
Well, I have a sort of a problem, not a huge problem but maybe you could help me.
I just have found out the program PCSX2. With this program you can play PS2 games on your PC, it's quite fun.
So, at the moment I am playing GTA Vice City Stories on the PC, everything goes well, no crashes, the controls are working great, the graphics are... well bad, but good enough, but then i have the fps.
The fps in the game are on some places very low (like 20) and in other places I have better fps (like 50). Now is my question, how can I increase my fps? In the program there are some what you called 'speedhacks' that you can use, but that didn't help that good. It's a bit annoying that you get lag in some places.
Maybe some of you know how to fix this or may used this program before (if not, you should try it!) & thanks for reading :)

emulators between different architectures can typically be very slow, more 10 times slower than original, thus it could lag.
also, this might be connected to your recent gpu issues, or you don't lag anywhere else?
you probably mentioned it before, but what are your specs?

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 550 Ti

Emulators aren't meant to be fast, i'm afraid. You're going to have to accept the lag.

and the cpu/ram is?

Processor x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 6 GenuineIntel ~2128 Mhz
1.00 GB

Yeah i already thought that, like i said, it isnt a big deal, but it only would be better haha. Everything can be better ^^ !
Without the 'high' fps it is still playable

your core 2 duo might or might not be enough(its on the edge either way), but RAM is definitely low.
having 1 GB RAM(unless you're referring to GPU's ram, which would be fine, in that case, what's your regular RAM) is unacceptable for any modern system and the ram is bottlenecking rest of the system hard, get at least 4GB.

That's right, if you are talking about how much GB I got left on that 'discus/disk' (I dont have 1 RAM, got more like G/J/K/D/C/I etc.), I have left about 10 GB

How much regular ram you have then?

You have to configure emulator and settings for each game you want to play, try searching good settings on internet, there are many of them.
I played ps2 games on pcsx2 like 2/3 years ago so i wont help you much now :-\
I played both gta stories games and dragon ball z games and had to put some time to configure emulator well.

I spent 219,78 GB of 465 GB, so i got 245,22 GB left
