Title: Improvements in /mycaritem for races, i.e. spoilers in non tunable cars as items

ok, this is our old /mycaritem, it allows you add taxi signs or bullhorns in to cars in races and neons/cop lights when it's timetrial race. How about adding few spoilers for it, so non-tunable cars can have them too.

But whats point to have repeated list like in screen above? Instead I would add spoilers for non-tunable cars (Bullet, Alpha, Buffalo etc)

It may take a while, but here post your suggestions which vehicles and which 1 SINGLE TUNING PART (spoiler, grille or whatever you may find funny, just 1 part coz it's testing stage only) you would like attached to it, for example:

Alpha + Sultan Alien Spoiler

I will check if this will be compatible and post screen/result.
So 'shot' your suggestions!

NOTE: object must be unsolid or do not stick out out of car lines.
NOTE2: So far spoilers will be only all-black color unless we/I get a way to get color on them.

Hm.. But is this really possible tho? Adding spoiler to bullet for example. It should not be compatible. Since adding that vehiclecomponent would make your game crash?

thats why i talk about attaching it as object, not as a car tuing part

same way how our /mycaritem works.

i suggest new cars with different handling, we download the file, we extract in GTA folder and enjoy.

Using this Filterscript you can edit ALL cars in the game, using car parts id's and attaching them to the car.
That's what i mean:

Thats extacly what I mean, but instead just tuning parts, wanna go bit further, than just car tuning parts... more fun stuff like these:

Don't know if it's possible, cause basically you can't edit .dff file of a car without modding it (2nd and 3rd screen); But adding some objects on car (1st screen) like weapons, car parts, funny stuff it's possible.
Would be funny if you can edit every single car through your profile and automatically load it when you start a race, imagine all this tuned car on the grid, everything will be more interesting.

What i'm trying to say, is that it's possible add items to car, probably will be boring place it in the good position but you can easily do it in game using this (http://wiki.sa-mp.com/wroot/images2/b/bf/EditingObject.png) (ObjectEditor).

these are not mods, tuning parts also have object IDs

my question: aren't things like surfboards solid objects which could change the flip behaviour when applied on a roof like that?

no, when objects are attached to car they are acting like car, if you put for example 100 meters long tower on car, it will still roll car like normal, object gonna act like it's unsolid

but why dont you try /mycaritem in our server, we have this for like 3 years or even 5, all works, just not many items (only taxi signs and bullhorns)

I doesn't matter to have collision or not.
As long as object stay within car lines (not infront or sides to break objects on road like lamps) it's fine.

Surfboard on BF Injection is solid object but doesnt change how car acts during rolling or flipping.

Wanna roof rack on huntley? sure, just show me object what I should use and even today gonna post screens
