Discuss here...I'll put the times up when i get them...
Round 1 closes Thursday night.
Maroon = Has not set a time
Blue = Has done 1 runs
White = Has done both runs
Red = Eliminated
Bottom 5 will be eliminated. People with no
times will be counted as having one of the
slowest times and will be eliminated. If more
than 5 people don't set times I'll have to
choose 5 people to eliminate.

Well I'm kinda dissapointed, first try I get 2:46 something then I try it again and my grid fucks up, I spawn on top of another cheetah so I lost about 6 seconds and got 2.46 again... so I would really appreciate if I could get another try.

You won't be eliminated. Everyone gets the same problem, but the grid will be fixed for the next round.

Sometimes the time doesn't get saved... that's really a huge problem (happend to flopster and maybe even too f4lcon?)

The bug only affected Flopster's and Falcon's times. You don't need to post yours.

In second try on round 1 race my car was spawned on another car and I lost 20 sec!

Kickflip you arent even in the competition! But I'll make an exception and let you and Joe compete...
Also gusy, remember that if someone doesn't set a time, then they won't proceed to the next round.

If stray couldn't compete he shouldn't have joined up.
We agreed on 3 days for each round.
I had to re-organise the amount of groups due to more people joining...I have officially closed joining now!
There are 15 rounds now, check the other thread for updated details.

3 days(72 hours), and it started yesterday morning.. so we have until thursday night/friday morning if I'm right(european times, GMT +1).

stage 1 - Cheetah (hope no Cheetah in any more stages, SA have about 200 vehicles, at lest 100 cars lol)

not only, just wanna see many diffrent types of vehicles, not only Cheetah/Infernus/Turismo/Sultan/Flash etc..
nice to see Hotring, Sabre, Euros, Clover, Club, Buffalo, Taxi, Limo, cop car, some trucks, normal cars etc..

The race time is recorded on server, so why are people posting their times in this thread?

@ max, will be alright... still many rounds to go ;)
@ simon, because there was a bug at the start of this tournament which didn't save the times(f4lcon and flopster were victim of the bug) but other believed they needed to show their times here...
EDIT:
What if 3 people didn't race the first round.. Will then those 3 drop out + the 2 with the worst time OR will those 3 drop out + the 5 racers with the worst time.

I'm not using Limo's in my tournament. Make your own Limo/Lawn Mower tournament if you want lol.
But each round will be a different track/car.

So... Say you get eliminated. Is there a way to still do the races but for fun? E.G I get eliminated, I practise and get better, I want to see how close I can come to the racers? Since I got like 62 fps and I ain't exactly best friends with the lamps, I probably won't make it past round 1.
@ Fernando_Almeida: Your time probably didn't get added because when I tried, I got something like 2:40, and I hit a few lamps. The idea is to get a record. The phrase "didn't get a time" means that you didn't set a record, not litterally didn't complete the race.

joe, it looks like you'll just have to finish the race to not be eliminated. and 62fps is fine, it's not an infernus drag race.

JOE just try drive better, you can do it. I have 60~ fps and look what time i've made :)

snikeris, i didn't delete anything. if you checked your sig code you would see the sig is still there but imageshack deleted it so it won't load. i suggest you use uploadffs in the future :)

Garrr sum1 deleted phil ivey from the other thread and i was confused for a while for why there were 7 people.
I had to restructure the people eliminated each round...it's not too different though.
No more people will be added to the tourney!

Being the nice community that we are, I think if a lot of people don't turn up to set times, all of Stage 1 players, qualify for Stage 2.
Another reason for this, is the bug we have with the vehicle spawning on top of you, Stage 1 had a few problems too for me, I only set one time because of a bug.
12 Stages, there's a long way to go. Stage 1 was the warm up.

The only person I count on is Chris, he will race today.. the others probably aren't active enough to see what they miss :L

Maybe you can base your decision on who to eliminate by checking who is more superior in the highscores? Just a suggestion. :)

Umm... I got bored and started messing around with my resoloution and kinda messed it up. Now I can't get back on GTA to sort it out :/. Any way to sort it without using GTA?

Although your time was fastest Love, you practiced on in so it's not really fair.
I'll try and get R to make sure that future rounds aren't in regular TT.
I've decided to Stick with eliminating 5 people, because I've changed
the amount of round too much already...
I've decided to keep Joe is the competition seeing as he is the only one
in the comp that we've heard from on the forums...
Fernando will be eliminated next round.

Vertigo ill tell you a thing you probably miss out, right in the time i set that record Snoopy was there and acted same way you did and i told the same im gonna tell you now, fuck the record now and lets get going.
If the race wasnt available in TT, wouldnt been i practiced it somewhere else? In some other server, in single player, in stunt mode... Thats why i talked about it alot in past message, it needs to be reviewed, many people didnt like it this way.
As i told there, my idea was having first pass to get the track into my mind so i did the same.Then i learnt the race is in TT.If it wasnt, i wouldve left the server right in the minute and went to my own local server to inspect the track, buddy.
So if you gonna keep it this way, dont remove the tracks from TT so we can do it without having hard time, all fair right? If you remove people would have to find someplace to practice it, now its not fair eh?

I know, but it isn't really fair towards others I guess.
And btw, I think Vertigo's programme isn't calculated on another racer. (He'll need to mix things up again). But I'm not the one with the latest word in this.
