Unban Requests / Re: RAZOR unban app

We decided that despite your terrible and and utterly inexcusable behavior in the past we still have to keep our promise and unban you. Watch out though, from now on there definitely will be no tolerance of you breaking any kind of rules. And remember - whatever you think is right or wrong, the final decision is always up to us.

Some people suggest Asus as good brand, but they are wrong
When you see 1 year warranty, often that means laptop is refurbished. So why paying much for something what already was with some fault?
1 year warranty is the norm in USA, but since EU requires at least 2 years that's what we get.

This one runs circles around some other suggestions and has an SSD, which, imo, is mandatory in 2017. That and an adequate display makes it good not just for gaming, but also for general work. It also has a 16GB ram version for a few bucks more, which I would suggest to buy, if you like to multitask. For modern gaming, 8GB is getting pretty tight already.

I would never ever suggest laptop with AMD processor...
Well, you might have to in a half year or so... Ryzen. O0  But yeah, current AMD offerings are pretty darn bad.

It's free on PC/Orgin as well. And you can use code origin50 to get base game for 10$ as well.

Core i3-6100 is still shit compared to a Core 2 Quad 9550S
http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/699/Intel_Core_2_Quad_Q9550S_vs_Intel_Core_i3_i3-6100.html
The only upside of 9550S is more cores, and that's still completely irrevelant because multithreaded performance is lower anyway.

Don't get me wrong, those should be mostly capable to play samp, and if you are statisfied with them, that's great, but when you say you have a new build, but talk about computer components that are 7+ years old, I can't help but think you were ripped off. I see adverts of "new" PCs with core 2 duo and the alike all the time, they are not only very shitty by any modern standards, but don't cost all that much less than they would cost 5 years ago.

Bug Reports / Re: FPS Rule

yes, they do, and in a perfect world I would limit it at 60, but limiting it at 30 was the best we could do without having ten times as many complaints as now. People were using 23fps limit, which is borderline intolerable to play in.

remove it tbh, everyone just uses 30fps instead which is basically the same thing, the cons easily outweigh the pros with this system

That would just mean that the system is not 100% effective, not that it doesn't work. <30 fps would be even worse.

Really pisses me off when some says Upgrade your PC it's too old"

Game was made to run at 30 FPS. Yes people this game got problems with FPS Limiter only set to 25. SilentPatch fixes this.

I don't care how it was made for poorly performing consoles 11 years ago. Almost anyone that can run 60 fps will find <40 fps really unpleasant and the system is made so that to get a record you don't have to get a unpleasant experience. You can still play, just don't expect to get a record while abusing faulty game mechanics.

That's not how it could work, plus if you have such lag spikes you ram anyone 30 meters after you, so I really don't see why would we support these kind of connections. I've played ax from 3G networks and even then its not even that bad.

You don't really need an entry-level graphics card if you're running on a Haswell system because even the HD 4400 is better than a Radeon R5 230.

That's my point. You can buy a cheap laptop for a couple hundred (or a comparable used one for like 100) with integrated graphics and still be able to run this game. I understand that some can't afford a new computer right now, but some limit must be drawn, and, in my opinion, right now the limit is very reasonably low.

Code: [Select]
...
1 - Low end PC
...
2 - Network problems.
...
The check is already more advanced than that - it checks your fps every server tick (5-10 times a second, not sure exactly), and adds an value that increases depending how far below the fps threshold it is. If you still get tagged for low fps, it means that it happens consistently enough to potentially give you some advantage.

Also, I recently tried out samp with just intel HD graphics 4600, and I never got the warning, even though that video card is in no way enough for any kind of normal gaming, so if your computer still can't run it, it's probably time to do something about it.

As for network troubles, that sucks, but unstable network is generally very hard and annoying to deal with for everyone involved either way and we can't really do anything about it. We might adjust the thresholds a little bit, but don't hold your breath.

yeah, but PS4 simply can't play it anywhere near maxed out, so it's kinda irrelevant to point that out...

Karlis could be wasting his money  :L I mean...NVIDIA gimped GTX 780 now the HD 7870 keeps up easily with performance. AMD's a great card in the long run. (I use NVIDIA card kek)
Well, I prefer having good performance and reliability now, not after a few years... :D
That 7970 did have a ton of pretty trivial driver related issues that AMD couldn't fix in 5 years, so yeah. Newer AMDs are probably better, but still.

Yeah, it does, and so, even getting 32GB wouldn't be very expensive, it's just literally useless for gaming purposes. Pretty much the only things where a non-business user could use more than 16 GB of memory are compilers, video renderers, ram disks and science related computing/simulations, neither of which will probably be needed.

X99S SLI PLUS has 8 dimm slots, so that's not an issue. And 4GB sticks are dirt cheap (for example, http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-PC4-17000-Unbuffered-288-Pin-CT4G4DFS8213/dp/B00MMLUYPQ), you don't need a set, just same model is preferred.
