So everyone that entered last year, the format is the same!
It will once again be world cup/champion's league style. A league/knockout tournament.
How it will work:
Group Stage
-Everyone will be randomly split into 16 groups of 5 players.
-The top players will be seeded through highscores to ensure that we don't get the 6 best players in the same group (kinda like champions league).
-Each player will 'race' every other player in the group twice. This means, with 5 in a group, everyone will race 8 times, with each tt race's times compared to one other player.
-Because of uneven numbers in each group, there will be 10 rounds and everyone will have 2 byes. I hope that makes sense for everyone.
-The winner of the TT duel will receive 3 points, the loser 0.
-For example: My first race is against mooman, and my time is 2 seconds faster, so I get 3 points. My second race is against Snoopy, and my time is 10 seconds faster, so I get 3 points. In total I now have 6 points.
-After the 8 races, the two players with the most points will progress to the next stage.
-In the event of 2 or more players at the top of the group having the same points, a bonus round will be played, where the players with the best times will progress.
I think the biggest benefit of this is that if you have a problem in one race, say a timeout or some other bad luck, you are not immediately out of the tournament. You can still win other races to get to first or second place in the group and then progress to the knockout stage.

-The two players will drive a TT race, the driver with the best time progressing to the next round.

General Server Discussion / How to connect to the server during the current DDoS attack

This system is no longer active. You can join the server at any time now.
Because of the server attacks our firewall is currently blocking everything except IP addresses on our whitelist. To add your own IP address to the whitelist simply go to http://adrenalinex.co.uk/antiddos.php and enter your username and password. If your IP address changes you will have to repeat this process.
Note: The server will not even appear to be online in the server browser until you add yourself.

Due to some hosting issues, the website and associated commands like /song and /translate are slightly broken at the moment but everything should fix itself in the next few hours. If after a few hours issues remain, please report them here.

Due to the rising costs of server hosting, we need to raise more money and from next week, we will be offering premium subscriptions. I'm sure everyone will agree that without money the server would not exist so it is only fair to reward those who ensure our survival. If you have any problems with this system, you are welcome to make your own racing server and play there

Due to this new system, all records will be reset. If you reach your maximum number of records, you will have to delete an old record using /deletemyrecord [racename] to be able to create any more records.
