New FireFox update is a big improvement over the last. A lot faster and looks better imo.

yeah, its great, been using it (developer preview version) since last june when i switched from chrome that had issues and ate 1.5gb ram for what ff would use 400mb.

i wasn't there myself and i have never played the race, so i don't have a strong opinion on this case, but, personally, i don't think that time should be a mayor factor that could make a race be deleted.

however, there is another point to this:
would you rather play a 50 second, 2 minute or 20minute "meh"/bad race?
that is why long races should be unique, fun and exciting, otherwise its quite literally a waste of time.
so, the longer the race is, the harsher it should be judged.

I don't think two admins can effectively judge whether a race deserves to be deleted or not when enough people like it.

i agree, but there is not a lot of alternatives to that, and player ratings are still an order of magnitude less objective than this.
this might sound controversial, but players themselves do not know what they want - they will vote in favor for an infernus/nrg highway race, because it's easier, but ultimately they will get bored of racing quicker.

neither of us is going to be manually naming them, and i'm not sure could we make the players somehow do it.
either way, it's too impractical to do it.

trailers aren't used in any race (as main vehicle)
only trailers used as main race vehicle are airport trailers
Bag Box A - 2 races
Bag Box B - 2 races

rest may be used in races, but not as main vehicle

also the following vehicles are never used as main vehicle too:
Truck Trailers
Boxville (burglary model)
Coastguard
Dinghy
RC Raider
Reefer
Sparrow (not sea version)
Tropic

3 of them are inferior or equal duplicates (boxville, sparrow, rc raider), and the other half is boats, which we all love so much, particularily cuz of the fps limitations  .
I do recall race with coastguard though, so someone must have deleted it.

In my opinion the top2-4 deserves it, those cars are an order of magnitude more fun to drive than anything else.
But jester/uranus? I think they are almost as boring as sultan.
voodoo, sandking, banshee, zr-350 and few others could definitely be used more though.

look at some latvian sites like apollo.lv or inbox.lv and you may have a second thought.
i just tested it, for me the speed up is like 2 seconds on ad heavy site, but you get much smoother and nicer experience.

the main issue is that its really narrow, i like a smaller font so more text fits on screen, and then the feed is taking like 1/5th of the screen width, but images are still relatively huge and obtrusive.

New interfaces on popular sites.
Youtube, twitter and now facebook.
They all do it for the worse, new layouts seem to discontinue a lot of features, and are designed for low-res screens with little width, in 2014...
They try to play the "unified interface" card, when in fact they just bring down the layout and features to mobile level and claim that now phones can do everything.
I was somewhat fine with youtube and twitter, as i mostly like changes, but the recent FB update is borderline retarded imo.
